I have to tell you, over the years I have met many truly wonderful friends over the Internet! One in particular is the lovely & über talented Charlene over at Willow & Paisley... She's been published numerous times for her gorgeous cards & has an eye for thrifted treasures as well!
A couple weeks ago she emailed me and asked if I'd be interested in some zippers from an Amish thrift shop she frequents. Since zippers run me around $1.50 - $2.00 a piece, I gratefully accepted her generous offer and offered to make her something in return.
Well look at the billion zippers she sent me!! She also sent the fabric for her item & a couple of cute vintage sheets for me to use! :) Looks like a lot, right?!
This is such a blessing to me!! Who knew that one day a box of zippers would make me so happy! lol!
She also sent me a beautiful card! :)
Since she allowed me to make her something in return for her generosity she chose a ruffled camera strap... here's a peek!!
Denim & ruffles go together like the beach & Mai Tai's! ;) I'm also including another little surprise for Charlene but it's secret till she receives her pkg. in the mail! :)
