Well I managed to do a bit of sewing today & finally cracked into my new book from Debby that I received in my last Secret Sister swap!! :)
This is such a great book!! There's a bag I want to make in it soon too... Just gotta find the perfect fabric! ;)
Here's a peek of my sewing books & magazines... Lots of different ones along with some smaller patterns tucked in there as well.
Ok... The project I chose to make from the "Bags" book was the little pencil case.
I ended up rounding the edges of my case a little too much so i'm going to try again & see if I can get a rounder corner. I also used a snap instead of Velcro... not a big Velcro fan.
Naturally, after I was done & flipped through the book I forgot it was filled with all the patterns. D'uh!! lol!
Anyways... I still like the end result but am going to give this little case away & try again.
Gorgeous Stampin' Up! Fabric & a pretty little aqua snap on it!
It looks a little 'uneven', but no different than the ones in the book, so I'm quite happy with it! :)
Photos were taken with my new iPod & edited in a funky APP whs name escapes me right now! lol!
