A new toy... just for *me*! And "Murphy" returns. Again.

My original iPod is filled to the brim with kids games. It's as slow as molasses & won't take any new updates, etc as its an "old" 1st Generation iPod touch. My iPad is filled with kids games as all, and won't take anymore updates either as its also a 1st Generation. However, I do plan on using my iPad until its an antique because they are crazy expensive. ;)

A few months ago I posted about my new iPod nano for my music (that I returned) & had been lusting over a small Nikon camera that I could take with me for photos "on the go"! Well I've found a (very) awesome happy medium!

iPod Touch 5th Generation

I splurged with some of my "extra income" that I earned this month & bought myself a new 5th Generation iPod Touch! My last iPod was the 1st Generation which I bought when iPod touches first came out in 2007/2008. So, it's been a while... ;)

I bought the pink (kind of a salmon colour) 32GB version & I absolutely love it so far! I was able to get everything on it from my iTunes via iCloud and the camera on it totally rocks!! It has a flash & image stabilization.

We had $35 worth of Best Buy Reward Zone G.C's to use, so I applied those towards my purchase & saved $35.00 worth of tax! (We have an obscene 13% tax here in Ontario) My total after the discount came to $305 & change... and I now have a camera for my purse & an iPod for my music to carry around with me! It'll be nice to just be able to buy what I like once again directly on my iPod & have my entire music collection back! :)

So I'm a happy girl today & my extra work has paid off!

On another note...

My Tim Hortons BUNN coffee maker died again. So Dallas just ran to Tim Hortons to exchange it for me. SO glad these things have a crazy long warranty!! LOVE this coffee maker... It's awesome!

Since Murphy has been here 2x in 2 days. Please tell me he's gone now...
