It's been raining here on & off all day... I was REALLY hoping that it stopped before it was time to take the girls out, but it was not to be. It was freezing cold & raining steadily... But I promised the girls we'd go out no matter what since they were sick last year they missed out. :(
We were getting ready to go when my new neighbor popped over with a bag full of candy for the girls & offered Morgan the cutest little hoody with bunny ears & lent us each huge new umbrellas (photography props) so we wouldn't get wet!! :) She saved Halloween for my girls as we were only going to hit a few houses then come back home, but since we had these huge umbrellas the girls & I stayed completely dry & we were able to go to around 15-20 houses before we hit grandmas for a visit. The girls were sooo happy! :)
My neighbor is 10 years younger than me, newly married, and expecting her first & is just the sweetest person you'd want living next door! She's quickly becoming a great friend & I'm so glad she moved in next door!
