According to the forecast we were supposed sit tight & expect to be hit fairly hard with 100km/hr high winds & lots of rain last night. Well, in my direct area we seemed to have had the winds & some rain but London didn't take a direct hit or lose power like so many around us.
We sat glued to the tv last night watching CNN as Sandy's devastation & havoc unfolded before us in live coverage across the U.S. & parts of Canada... over 7 million are without power in the U.S, 200,000 + without power in Canada There have been deaths reported, people missing, people trapped & stranded, etc...
Today everyone affected are in my constant thoughts & prayers. :(
