Ummm yah. They're surely NOT talking to us. We have 3 accounts with Scotiabank.
- Basic Banking (main account)
- Money Master (used for "extra" cash)
- TFSA (Emergency Savings)
I looked in our accounts today to do the budgeting & saw this in our Money Master account...
$55.00 service fees?!?!
Over the last month I've dug into this account several times for prescriptions, extra cash, etc... but to the tune of $55.00?!?! I think not! I'm beyond frustrated with Scotiabank (once again) & am making an appointment to go in today & close my "other" two accounts & think I'll see about closing our main account as well.
We keep a balance of $2K in our main account to avoid service fees. Well a lot of good that does us when they're going to ding us in our other account!! Grr!! What a way to start my day!! :(
I'll simply go back to using ING for my savings, etc..
Does anyone use ING for their main bank account? Any issues finding a bank machine, etc? How do you deposit cheques, etc... I'm not sure if they have any store front banks, but there's none where I'm located.
