I received the Ottlites that I ordered online the other day from The Shopping Channel today! I wasn't expecting them so soon, but wow, that's some fast service!!
Here is my new table top lamp...
Brushed nickel top and will turn in any direction, upwards, downwards, side to side...
The hinged middle for adjustments...
A nice HEAVY and stable base!
And look at the size of the itty bitty bulb... lol!
Unfortunately, my floor lamp arrived with a cracked bottom. A very cracked bottom, had it of been one crack, I probably would have just kept it, but this was falling apart. The main base is made of heavy plaster or cement or something 'cause it weighed a tonne! I think probably because of the cold weather, and being bounced around on a Canada Post truck, it cracked the plastic.
A little chunk of plastic fell right off... :(

I called The Shopping Channels Customer Service line and was told to simply pop it back in the box with the postage paid labels and as soon as they receive it, they'll send me out a new one and will check to make sure it's in perfect condition before it's shipped. :) Great customer service!! It's now on the way back and i'll hopefully receive a new one back early next week.
So there you have it! I'll post those before & after pics tomorrow... I really wanna see the difference! I plan on posting my 2 current living room lamps on FreeCycle or Kijiji... I remember when we first moved out we had NO extra lamps as they were out of our very measly budget, so it would be nice to help someone else out! And getting them out of here would be a nice little bonus as well. ;)
