Gemology Blocks... Swap in progress!
Closing Shop...

WIP Wednesday!

Good morning! It's time for WIP Wednesday with the Needle & Thread Network!
Looking back it doesn't seem like I was very productive over the last week, but I have a lot of projects on the go that I only work on a touch here & there, so perhaps that's the reason? LOL!! Anyways, let's see what I have on the go and what I've accomplished this week!
WIP's...
1. I'm currently working on a Sew Together Bag for a swap on Instagram with the Gemology paper pieced block. I reduced it by 50% and just finished my hand stitching last night! Today I hope to get it all put together! A lot of work has went into this already, so I'm excited to see it complete!

Yesterday I received fabric from FabricSpot for a custom ordered laptop sleeve, so that was my work last night! It's complete now so I'll share photos soon! I used this gorgeous organic Cloud9 butterfly print along with a beautiful matching blue KONA solid.

I received these English paper pieces in the mail as well, those great big 2" hexies are for another swap I'm in. It's the next swap on my "to do" list and I've pulled my fabrics for it as well! I'll share more when I begin!

Not a work in progress, but I received my "Sweetly Stitched Handmades" by Amy Sinibaldi in the mail and will be choosing something from it for my NanaCompany inspired swap! I haven't had much time to look through it yet, but soon! There seems to be so many wonderful little projects in it and I'm excited to make something from it!

Next up, my completed items! Not a lot to show here... Howeve I did make 2 Liberty of London pouches that are quite pretty I think! (The blue one is still available with details HERE)

I also made my bestie a small gift as part of her Birthday present, can't show it all though 'cause she'll see! But I'll share it soon along with a tutorial!

And another item I finished is this sweet cat mini quilt/mug run for a giveaway on my FB page. It's a cat quilt block by Elizabeth Hartman and I think they're just adorable! I'm working on a quilt for my youngest but somehow I "messed up" on the measurements of 3 cats, so turned one into this sweet little project!

Here's what I have ongoing...

  • Quilt for youngest - Cat quilt
  • Quilt for child #2 - Splendid Sampler Sew-a-long
  • Quilt for a gift
  • 4 patchwork minky backed blankets - custom order
  • Envelope pouch
  • Mug rug
  • 2 paper pieced flying geese bags - 1 laptop bag, 1 larger purse.
  • Big Stitch Swap 2
  • NanaCompany Inspired Swap
  • Perfect Pouch Swap

I think that's about it? But I always forget stuff, but hopefully it's nothing too important! ;) And on that note I'm off for the day! I hope everyone has a fabulous day!
