A fun, new DailyLike Canada Croc wallet... for me!
Our Easter Sunday plans...

Thursday things...

***

I started my day by pulling and matching fabrics to make *twelve* slimline wallets for the Spring Merry Makers Fair!

Then I, ironed both stacks, cut all fabrics for 12 wallets, matched zippers to each wallet and finally, I set them aside to get to know each other... lol!

Tomorrow I'm going to match each interior to outer corks & linens, and will cut all the interfacing (it's going to be a tonne) and if time is on my side I'll get everything fully interfaced too!!

Which means I'll have *TWELVE* wallets to sew this weekend... I am probably over-aiming as my Saturday is busy with the Globetrotters show and Sunday is Easter. I'm not hosting a big dinner this year however as things have just been far too busy and I'm exhausted truthfully. So I think I'll just make a nice sit down dinner for the 6 of us and call it a day!

On another note, I started to work on my Tiny Florals Anonymous swap... I glue basted a handful of 2" hexies and have hand stitched half of them together so far. I'm loving how this is going so far and hope my partner will love it as well! I really try to go the 'extra' mile for my swaps and so far they've always been really well received which makes me so happy!

The other day I received a PM from someone asking me if I had a "support group" for my patterns. I had really never considered it before, but it makes sense. So today I created a new facebook group for people that use my patterns. It's a place to go share your work, ask and share tips/advice/tricks about using and creating with my patterns. I think I'm nearing close to 100 members, so it was definitely a good thing to do! If you'd like to join, simply follow this link and join in the fun!

I place a fun cork order earlier in the week and am waiting for it to arrive. I ordered more of this fun giraffe print along with a few other beautiful colours & prints. However... I didn't realize that I was completely out of gold flecked natural cork. *sigh* It's my favourite and now I'm hoping to find some closer to save myself from paying the almost $20 shipping fee again. I can't win sometimes... thankfully I do have lots of natural on hand, and it's soo soft and lovely, but the gold flecked is just so gorgeous and unique. I really wanted to use some on my items for the Merry Makers Fair. However at the same time, I'd love to really use up what I have on hand and then order a fresh stash after I make some cash at the craft fair. So I will probably focus on using up what I have and will start new after the fair. Sounds like the smart thing to do right?

Tomorrow morning I'm up bright & early to get our taxes done. Yes, I know it's Good Friday, but he's private, so I was able to sneak in tomorrow to get them crossed off of my list. We have everything finally ready to go, so it'll be nice to get them done & in on time!

On that note, I need to set my alarm for crazy early tomorrow as I don't like to just "wake up and run out", I need time to fully wake up, shower, enjoy my coffee, check emails etc.. I guess I'm a creature of habit and still want my regular morning routine, even if it has to be a couple hours earlier!

Thanks for peeking in, I'll be back tomorrow with "5 Things Friday"! I hope everyone has a wonderful & blessed Easter weekend! Xox
