Mya, my little fashion obsessed diva... lol!
A fun, new DailyLike Canada Croc wallet... for me!

Today...

I woke up to someone wanting a cork wallet and a couple of business card wallets, but custom made to fit her business cards. These business card wallets below were custom made for square business cards... I didn't have any square business cards to show these off, but I'm quite happy with how they turned out and think she's going to love them!

I have an expensive couple of weeks ahead of me so I was considering opening up a few spots for custom orders, even though I'm quite enjoying my little "break". Which isn't really a break from sewing at all because I have a crazy amount of sewing to do in the next month, just a break from the back and forth and time customs take. However, as soon as I said that out loud I received a handful of orders for my cork items which totally padded our slush fund and will pay for the things I have planned for the girls birthdays!
I sold business card wallets, passport wallets and mens wallets! I'm so grateful to my wonderful customers!

One of my more "regular" customers stopped by for a custom order tonight and I quickly made her a cute little cork mini coin purse for her trip! She's off and away on a missions trip to Haiti, so I thought she could perhaps use something simple for little coins and cash which can very easily be tucked away! Isn't it so cute? I use my cork scraps for these and think they're just adorable! They're fully lined as well!

This is my motto in life... and please excuse the "colourful language" as Cynthia puts it, but I absolutely LOVE my new coffee mug!! I ordered this beauty from the Society 6 shop and it's fabulous! I bought the larger size, 'cause coffee. Hahaha!! In case you "need" one too, here's where to purchase from Cynthia's shop!

Today the kids and I went out to do a bit of shopping. We found Mya a couple of cute whale themed nighties from Carters ($21 for 2 gowns after tax, not bad really), Maria spent some money she had saved on a couple of Pokemon toys from EB Games, then we ran to WalMart for some stuff. Dh needed a couple tank tops, we needed some pillows and I needed a new face cream as I cannot find my Burt's Bees Carrot Cream come hell or high water... *sigh* I'm SO sad they've stopped making it as I've been using it for years and years and years and years!! My skin loves it and with my sensitive skin & allergies, it's hard to find new stuff. I dread it.

Anyways... I'm trying this stuff:

It has wonderful reviews and it's supposed to be very moisturizing which is exactly what I need. And it's very affordable at $12'ish a tub. So i'm really hoping that it works well!

While we were out this afternoon, it started down-pouring and naturally, we got caught in it. I was wearing my Liberty of London Keds shoes and they got drenched. Since they were wet they seemed to have shrunk on my feet. So I walked around WalMart soaking wet, shivering, with 2 new fat blisters starting on my feet. By the time we were done shopping my feet were bleeding and I was utterly done. I won't be going anywhere tomorrow as my feet need a break to heal! Ouch!

Dinner was simple & easy, submarine sandwiches for Dh & kids, which is my favourite type of meal to make.. haha! Fast, easy and minimal clean up! The kids played together and I spent the night making myself a new wristlet! I've been wanting to make one for myself for eons, and now I have! I'll share photos with you tomorrow, but it's super quirky & fun and is fabulous for the spring and summer months!

I'm now watching "The Paradise" on Netflix - anyone else watch this series? We also watched Mr.Selfridge (loved it!), and this one is of the same genre so we're enjoying it.

Anyways, I need sleep. I have a crazy, long "to do" list for tomorrow so I'm going to try to get a full nights sleep tonight! I hope everyone had a great day, I'll be back tomorrow!
