Kujira & Star Pencil Pouch... something for me!
3 Saturday things...

I'm still here...

Things have been busy and I've been out a lot with the kids. I try to get out every day as these gorgeous spring & summer months seem to go by so quickly! I'm trying to figure out some stuff in regards to a huge life change which is weighing heavily on me, so I've been a little stressed as well. I just need a clear sign, but often that doesn't happen, so it's a big leap of faith and courage that I need right now!
I've been sewing lots, I'm sore, but I'm ahead of the game with my last oil bag pre-order and mailed out a fat stack today which made me happy!
Tomorrow I teach my first class at KnitStitch for my Slimline Wallet and I'm excited for that as I think it'll be a fun afternoon! The weather is supposed to be sunny & hot, so it'll be lovely as well! Other than my sewing class I'm teaching, there's not much on the agenda for the weekend. Housework, laundry, so on and so forth.
Today I spent some time outside with my Nikon 28-105mm lens and found this beautiful dragonfly waiting for a photo op! Doesn't he look like a Monarch butterfly? I'm not sure what he is, but he's gorgeous all the same!

On another note, something good for me is that I can now eat a couple of raw fruits, which is absolutely amazing because when I got my allergy shots and testing done a few years back my allergist told me NO raw fruits & vegetables at all. She was quite clear that *everything* had to be cooked and cooked well.

I *really* miss being able to eat anything raw as my diet was soo healthy, and I guess in regard it still is, as I eat a whole foods diet with no crap, but if you can't eat raw fruits & veggies, you really don't know how hard it is. So I'm slowly re-testing a few things here and there to see how I do. I can now eat raw, ripe bananas, grapes, and I'm working on watermelon right now as well. I've had no asthma attacks or anything and have been happily eating a banana and a big bowl of grapes each day now! Hoping to add watermelon to that mix and will try strawberries again soon too I think! I'm trying things slowly and seeing how things go!

I know without a doubt that there are fruits & veggies which I won't try my luck with as I had severe reactions to them (lips swelling, itchy tongue/throat, asthma attacks, hives, etc) but even if I am ok eating a handful of raw fruits I will be forever & eternally grateful!

I think that's about all for now... I should have someone popping by for a pick up anytime so I'm going to say goodbye! I shall return soon! Please leave me a comment letting me know that you're reading, I always wonder who pops by!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
