The week ahead...
WIP Wednesday...

It's a boy!!

We were able to pick up our new family member yesterday! We've been waiting on this little guy to 'fatten up' a wee bit before we brought him home. He's 10 weeks old and is a SealPoint Birman/Siamese, and he is soo darling & cuddly! He runs around like a little whirlwind and makes us laugh so much! He's quite comfortable in his new surroundings. We're simply waiting on the "Queen" to approve his presence, which I don't think will be happening any time soon. However, today was a far better day than yesterday was! Less hissing, less spitting, less hate in her eyes. LOL!!
We purchased him from a local'ish breeder after Dh found the ad on Kijiji. We have given up on the stray kitten outside as they have moved on and the last time we saw him outside, he definitely had his "outdoor skills" well honed!

Overall, he's such a sweet thing and we just love him to bits! He's eating well, fully litter trained, climbs like crazy (my poor new sectional... lol!) and makes us all so very happy!! I've forgotten how much fun new kittens are and it brings back memories of when our Queen was a little kitten as well! Oh, his name is Chester!

If you read my last post, I'm happy to announce that after a week long stay at the vet, my sisters cat is finally home! I'm so glad he's on the road to recovery, my sister and BIL were absolutely heart-broken, and my heart ached for them. Now their little family of 4 (2 humans, 2 cats) is complete again! My sister did great with her zipper charm sale which will help with their ginormous vet bill! If you'd like to help and are in need of zipper charms for your sewn zipper pouches, she has beautiful bags of zipper charms posted on her Instagram feed (she's @frogginghappy on IG) and you can purchase pretties for your pouch like the ones I use on mine!

And Mya is *almost* better, but her sore throat is still lingering and when she has to run around a lot (gym class) she says it's really hard for her to breathe. I've decided that i'm going to keep her home tomorrow (gym day) to allow her a pj day at home to relax. She didn't get to rest this weekend since she was quite sick all weekend, and we spent a long exhausting night in the ER. So we'll have a "pj day" and she can read her novel, play with Chester & spend extra time resting.

On that note, I'm off for the night. I'm exhausted as I didn't get more than 4 hours of sleep last night and I think it's time for me to crash & burn. I shall return tomorrow... have a good night!
