Well today is a total bust...
And with that, I did it!

*Look at how handsome my boy is! He's a handful, but he makes us laugh!

Good morning! Things have been busy, but good! At this point we almost have the entire house unpacked & organized! I have just a few items left on my "house" list to check off, but things are starting to move & look like home now! No boxes laying around, no extra "stuff" really, just finding spots for a few items, and whatnot.

I sold a set of coffee tables last night on FB which I had been hoping to move (yay!) & am just waiting for my sister and brother-in-law to have some free time to swing by for the table & chairs that they lent us when we were waiting for our moving truck to arrive. I am looking for a new (new to us, I'm willing to buy used, and hope to if I can find what I want gently used!) ottoman for our living room and a small end table. I'm hoping to find something "chunky" with storage for an end table at a thrift store. I'm sure I will in time and I'm not in a huge rush at all. The table set I sold was nice, but too "lightweight", not the right shape and not what we need with the kids and 2 cats.

Today I'm hoping to have a bit of time to hang up my mini quilts and whatnot in my sewing room, and once those are up I'll snap photos of my finished sewing room to share! It's not mind-blowing spectacular, like some of the jaw-dropping sewing rooms I see on IG (***DROOL***) but we're working with a limited budget and I still have a few things I need to do, but that will happen in time!

I have a busy day ahead of me once again, but I'm at peace! I am so happy to be home and nothing seems to put a damper on it! I cracked open my "Day Designer" planner the other day and it's helping me stay on track and accomplish what needs to be done every day! These planners are definitely not for the faint of heart (expensive) but boy do I love mine!! I use it every single day, so when I chop that price into 365 days of use, it's not a bad buy at all! It saves my sanity and keeps my life running smoothly! That's a good thing!

On my 'to do' list today I have the following things:

  1. Pull fabrics for an order & send pymt info
  2. Visit Gma in the hospital with Dh
  3. Bring Mya to meet a friend after school
  4. Fold & put away laundry
  5. Wash & hang a load of laundry
  6. Pop a couple orders in the mailbox for pick-up
  7. 6 chapstick keyfobs for an order
  8. Hang up mini quilts, etc...
  9. Cut fabric for NCW custom order
  10. Clean upstairs bathroom (I have 3 to clean now... lucky, lucky me... lol!)
  11. Move $$ into bill savings.
  12. Source & order a few things for 2 custom baby gift sets.

It looks like I have my work cut out for me today... I didn't sleep well last night, and am only running on a little over 4 hours of sleep, so we'll see how this list fares today.

On that note I'm going to sign off and get my day going so I can cross a few things off my list before I head out to visit Grandma! My goal is to blog more regularly now that things have settled and my life resembles normalcy once again! Anything in particular you'd like me to blog about?

Ok, I'm off! Have a wonderful day!
